A structure fire was reported on Saturday just before 4 PM on the 4200 block of Mount Carmel Road, causing about $28,000 in damages to outbuildings.
According to the witness, he was burning items in a burn pile and went inside the residence. A short time later he heard a knock on the door, it was a man letting him know that the shed was on fire.
When deputies arrived the fire was already put out by the Fire Department. According to the report, the burn pit caught the grass on fire, which damaged two outbuildings in the process. Damage to both is estimated to be around $28,000, according to the owner.
