One person was injured around 9:30 Wednesday morning in a wreck on the Asheville Highway.
A GMC truck hauling an enclosed trailer was traveling south on Asheville Highway near West Allens Bridge Road. The 17-year-old driver was not identified due to being a juvenile.
A Toyota Camry driven by 75-year-old Jeanie Bettis was traveling north on Asheville Highway the same time as the GMC.
The truck reportedly crossed the yellow double-solid line into the opposing lane of travel and struck the Camry in the front.
Bettis was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile not injured the wreck, according to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
