One person was injured in a two vehicle wreck around 6:10 am today on West Andrew Johnson Highway.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford F150 pickup operated by Shirley Wilson pulled from onto West Andrew Johnson Highway from Rader’s Sidetrack Road. The driver of a 2014 GMC Sierra, Travis Mayes reported he saw the slower moving Ford and attempted to slow down but could not in time to avoid a collision.
The left lane of West Andrew Johnson Highway was shut down until a tow truck could move the disabled GMC. Wilson was transported by EMS to a local hospital for evaluation of her injuries.
