One person was treated at the scene after a two vehicle crash on West Andrew Johnson Highway on Tuesday.
The accident happened just before 12:30 pm in the 5000 block of West AJ, near the Mt. Pleasant Road intersection. The driver of the 2025 Chrysler passenger van, Brandon Dwars, was treated by EMS but did not require hospitalization. The driver of a 2009 Toyota Camry, Gavin Avery, was not injured according to a Greeneville Police Department report. Avery was charged with Failure to Yield while Dwars was charged with a drivers license violation. The Greeneville Fire Department, EMS, Rescue Squad, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Town of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
