One person is dead and the other is still in the hospital after a shooting Sunday around 3 AM, at the 100 block of Old Asheville Highway, according to the Greeneville Police Department.
22 year old Juan Tauscher, of 1040 Old Asheville Highway, passed away yesterday morning from his gunshot wounds, after he and another victim were found and transported to a local hospital. Tauscher’s body will be taken to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center for an autopsy. At this time, the investigation remains ongoing, and a suspect has not yet been identified.
