Officers responded to South Main and West Main Street last night after someone complained a vehicle was driving recklessly.
The complainant told the Greeneville Police Department the vehicle with South Carolina plates passed her on Baileyton Road and threw a can out the window, hitting her car. The suspects’ vehicle was located and the officer made contact with the driver Daniel Wilson and passenger Lisa Christopher.
The driver Wilson told officers they were on their way home coming from Knoxville and said another car was following him to close and threw a can at the vehicle. But his story was the same as the complainants and according to the report the officer said his story changed.
A K-9 was requested to the scene and gave a positive alert on the vehicle. The passenger Lisa Christopher of South Carolina, admitted a glass pipe was in her jacket, officers also found a bill folded with approximately .3 grams of meth. Another glass pipe was found on the passenger door.
She was arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail.
