The North Greene Huskies and Greeneville Greene Devils will represent Greeneville/Greene County in the TSSAA state basketball tournament this week on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.
The Huskies (30-4), coming off their 64-53 sectional win over Oliver Springs, will be making their 2nd consecutive trip to the Glass House and their 4th in the last 5 years. They will open the Class 1A tournament up at 10:30 EST on Wednesday, March 19th. They will face off with The Humbolt Vikings who enter the tournament at 28-5.
The Greene Devils (25-11), who defeated Carter 55-51 in the sectionals, are making their first trip back to MTSU since repeating as state champs in 2022. Their opening round opponent in Class 3A will be the Munford Cougars, who enter the tournament with a 20-10 record. Tipoff is set for 12 noon EST on Thursday, March 20th.
