A Newport Highway man reported a gun stolen from his vehicle.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday that he went to get his pistol out of his truck and discovered it was gone. He kept the gun in the glove box and last noticed it in his vehicle around the first of January.
There were no known suspects, but the victim mentioned in the report that the gun was in his truck while it was recently at a repair shop. The pistol is valued at $400.
