Although the actual National Day of Prayer is the first Thursday in May, a special ceremony has been scheduled on the steps of the Greene County Courthouse on Saturday, May 16th.
While the annual Iris Festival activities are ongoing, a National Day of Prayer – Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America, will be held at Noon that day.
Citizens and community leaders are invited for a historic moment of reflection and unity.
