A Grainger County man and his mother were arrested Friday morning after they were discovered to be intoxicated at the Greene County Courthouse.
Court staff encountered 44-year-old Charles Voiles and 63-year-old Robyne Bullion of Bean Station in the lobby around 10:00 Friday morning. Both Voiles and Bullion were lethargic and unsteady on their feet, with Voiles claiming that his blood sugar was low. A test showed that his levels were normal, and Voiles admitted to taking suboxone earlier in the morning.
Both Voiles and Bullion were charged with public intoxication.
