A Mosheim man was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and other charges near the Blue Springs Parkway and West Summer Street intersection.
While on the Andrew Johnson Highway a deputy spotted a vehicle crossing the fog line and center line. The vehicle continued onto Blue Springs Parkway and after crossing the fog line again it was stopped by the deputy. The driver, Lawrence A. Supcoe, reportedly had slurred speech and glassy eyes and stated he had a hand gun in the vehicle.
According to the report, when asked to step out the vehicle for sobriety tests he performed poorly. Supcoe allegedly was resisting arrest when he was being placed into handcuffs and also refused a blood draw. He was charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Handgun While Under the Influence, and other charges.
