During a brief called meeting Tuesday night the Mosheim Board of Mayor and Aldermen gave unanimous final approval to an amendment to the previous year’s budget.
The amendment was the only item on the agenda. The ordinance to amend the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget for increased expenses in the town’s sewer fund was approved on final reading after being granted initial approval in July.
The ordinance will decrease the net position of the sewer fund by $452,500, and increase expenditures in the sewer fund by $258,000 for subcontract work, $108,000 for professional fees, and $86,500 for electricity.
Alderman Matthew Solomon was absent from the called meeting as he was out of town traveling.
