More than $1,500 worth of tools were reported stolen from a Church Hill Road property on Monday.

The victims told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department the items were taken from the house they are working on sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning. Entry was attempted through the front door, destroying it. Entry was then apparently made through a rear door, also destroying it in the process.

Several tools were stolen, including two saws, a drill, air compressor, and a shop vacuum. Total loss is estimated at $1,510, with $600 worth of damage. There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
