A line of strong thunderstorm continues to approach East Tennessee. The National Weather Service has issued a statement that says they are tracking a line of storms that could impact Greene, Hawkins, Hamblen, Sullivan, Washington, and Carter Counties until 11:45 PM.
The storm was located in a line extending from Rogersville to Jefferson City and was moving east at 55 MPH around 10:45 PM.
The storm could have 50 mph winds and half inch hail.. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include Greeneville, Morristown, Rogersville, Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Elizabethton, Jefferson City, Erwin, and Dandridge.
