A mobile home on Isley Lane, off of the White House Road, was destroyed by a fire Monday.
Daniel Parks, a neighbor, told deputies that he noticed the structure was on fire around 11:40 Monday morning. The residents stated they had left 30 minutes prior to go to the hospital. When the Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene the home closest to the road was engulfed in flames. One of the residets reported that the area on that end of the house was a bedroom where a fan and heater had been left on.
The mobile home was valued at $20,000 and the contents at $5,000.
