Last Friday January 9, 2026, deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department were called to Greeneville Community Hospital. A male at the hospital was claiming to have sexually molested his 5 yr old daughter. The Sheriff’s Department’s investigation revealed the abuse had been ongoing for the past five years. The family had moved to Greene County from Cocke County only a year ago. It was determined that some of the criminal acts occurred in Greene County.
26 year old Christopher Michael Jerome Warren of Sinking Springs Rd., Midway, was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery. The bond was set at $150,000 and an arraignment was held in Greene County Sessions Court on Monday. The initial court date is set for January 26 at 9:00 am.
The investigation continues and will be in conjunction with the Cocke County Sheriff’s Department.
