A Greeneville woman was arrested Monday near East Church Street for impersonation and it was later discovered she was possibly concealing Methamphetamine in her body cavity.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle around 4 AM for a break light that was out. Contact was made with the driver and passenger. The passenger identified herself as Chelsea Shelton but according to the report, the woman lied about her identity several times. It was confirmed her name was actually Chelsea Sherman.
Sherman was taken into custody and arrested for criminal impersonation. During a pat down a needle was reportedly found in her jeans and while at the Greene County Workhouse for a scan, it appeared something was concealed inside her body. A clear container was located with a white crystal substance. The report states it appeared to be 1 gram of Meth.
She was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Meth.
