Greeneville, Tenn. — August 5, 2026 — Meco is proud to announce that the Americana Hang-A-Round Portable Fire Pit has advanced to the Top 16 in the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee contest, a statewide competition celebrating the innovation and manufacturing excellence that define Tennessee.
Hosted by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry in partnership with the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services and the Smart Factory Institute, the annual contest recognizes the products and manufacturers that are driving Tennessee’s economy through innovation and world-class manufacturing.
After advancing through the first round of public voting, the Americana Hang-A-Round Portable Fire Pit is now competing for a spot in the Elite 8. Public voting is open August 5–12, and supporters can vote once per day through Wednesday, August 12, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
