A man wanted in Georgia on a charge of Aggravated Assault with Terroristic Threats, was taken into custody by Greeneville Police Thursday.
In his report, Officer Tanner O’Laughlin says he responded to a call around 4:30 Thursday afternoon where he encountered a man in the woods behind Publix identifying himself as Johnny Brown.
Brown, whose local address is listed as 5185 Dulaney Road in Greeneville , was taken into custody on the active warrant out of Georgia.
He was charged locally with being a fugitive from justice.
Georgia authorities say they do plan extradition.
