A man wanted in Sullivan County was arrested in Greeneville early today.
A car driven by 31 year old Phoenix Jordan Cope, listed as homeless , was stopped by Greeneville Police just after midnight on East Andrew Johnson Highway at Justis Drive. A records check showed active warrants in Sullivan County. He was taken to the Greene County Detention Center then booked into the Sullivan County Jail shortly before 2 am.

A man wanted on a local Violation of Probation warrant was taken into custody as he walked out of the Walgreens on East Andrew Johnson Highway shortly before 2 am today.
Ronnie R. Gibson of Serral Drive was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident. He is scheduled for a Sessions County appearance today.

Drug and vehicle violation charges were filed against a Greenville woman following a traffic stop shortly after 11 last night on East Andrew Johnson Highway at Crockett Crossing.
After a search of her vehicle, Vergina R. Sweeney of Old Ridge Lane was charged with Possession or casual exchange meth and unlawful drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and violation of the financial responsibility law.
