A man was flown to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after an ATV accident on the 1000 Block of Campbell Road.
According to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred after 3 PM when the driver, 56 year-old Stacey Shaw, was traveling north on Campbell Road and his ATV went into a ditch. He attempted to get back on the road but the ATV began rolling.
Shaw was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the ATV. A medical helicopter was paged to the scene and he was flown to the Johnson City Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
His condition is not known at this time.
