A Cosby man reported his broken down vehicle stolen from the side of the road.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he was driving on Cedar Creek Road Sunday evening when his 2017 Chevrolet Silverado started acting funny. He thought it might be due to gas issues. He was attempting to make it to a gas station, but pulled over at the Cedar Creek and Little Meadow Creek Road intersection. He left the truck at the side of the road.
When he went to get the truck around 7:00 Monday morning, it was gone. The victim called all local towing companies and none stated they had the vehicle.
The truck is valued at $32,000, according to the report.
