A Telford man was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center after a mini excavator overturned on him on Thursday.
The accident happened just before 3pm at Grand True Value Rental on the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
A reported issued this morning by Greeneville Police says medical personnel were dispatched to a report of a male having flipped a piece of machinery over and that he was unconscious. Officers arrived to find Cecil Ward of Old Stagecoach Road lying on the ground inside the halo guard of a mini excavator. Ward, police say, was alert and talking but couldn’t remember what happened. He was complaining of left neck and back pain. Greene County EMS transported him the the Medical Center for evaluation.
