A man was injured Monday morning in a motorcycle wreck in the 5700 block of Asheville Highway in front of the former Nolichucky Golf Course.
The wreck occurred around 11:00 AM when the 2021 Harley Davidson driven by 61-year-old Randy M. Tinkler ran off the roadway while traveling south on Asheville Highway. The motorcycle then struck a mailbox and slid on its side back into the travel lane before coming to rest.
Tinkler was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center, according to the accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
