A man from Logwood Lane in Greeneville reportedly got blackmailed by someone on an app and sent the person $400.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office spoke with the man on Monday who said about a month ago he got a message from an unnamed person through an app called Zangi. The suspect had pictures of the victim that he posted onto a website about 10 years ago.
The suspect reportedly threatened the victim and said if he did not send money they would send the photos to his work place. The victim has sent $400 in the form of apple cards through the app.
