A Mosheim man who was found in a stranger’s yard on Thursday morning was arrested for public intoxication.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 4000 block of Blue Springs Parkway around 9:30 AM after a woman reported someone was in her yard. She said the man, later identified as Shane Crumbly of Wisecarver Road, was not moving and she was afraid to get close.
When deputies arrived on the scene, Crumbly was sitting up, but slumped over and not moving. Deputies shook Crumbly to wake him up and he reportedly began mumbling.
Crumbly was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center for public intoxication.
