A man has died from injuries received in a motorcycle accident Wednesday afternoon on Bachman Drive off the 11-E Bypass.
20-year-old Dashawn A. Lowery passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Thursday.
The wreck occurred around 2:00 PM when a motorcycle driven by Lowery was traveling east on 11-E, went off the right side of the roadway, and struck a ditch. The motorcycle went onto its side and continued until it came to an uncontrolled final rest against a fence.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
