Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Tusculum Boulevard in regard to a fight in progress. Upon arrival police located a vehicle at the corner of Tusculum and North Main Street. When officers approached the car, the driver let off the brake, and the vehicle almost rolled into the patrol car. The driver was identified as Justin Stills of Chuckey
A witness informed officers Stills had allegedly eaten 5 Xanax pills earlier; and in fact had been seen by an ambulance in regard to an overdose less than an hour prior.
Stills performed poorly to Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was very unsteady on his feet. Believing Stills to be under the influence of narcotics police placed him in custody and charged him with DUI 2nd offense, driving while license is revoked for DUI, and Violation of Implied Consent Law.
