Greeneville Police have arrested a man for a second time this year on charges related to brandishing a knife and threatening his girlfriend.
Police responded to Greeneville Terrace Apartments on Elk Street shortly after 4 pm Tuesday to a report that 44 year old Quindell Elijah Fishburne and the woman had gotten into an argument about him moving back to South Carolina. She reported the argument escalated to him holding a knife and making threats to harm her. He had left the scene when Police arrived but was later arrested after he returned to that location.
He is charged with aggravated assault and is scheduled for a court appearance today.
Fishburne had been arrested February 2nd after a similar incident with the same female, at the same location. According to the Police report, there is a repeated pattern of domestic violence between the two. Fishburne also has an Order of Protection in place out of South Carolina.
