Theft from a motor vehicle was reported yesterday night.
A man was seen on video footage approaching a property on East Hawthorne Court in Greeneville about 2 AM yesterday morning. The male was seen walking through the back yard with black shorts, a black hoodie, and black shoes with white soles. The man went around the property near the owner’s vehicles and went inside. After a short amount of time he was then seen exiting the vehicle and started looking at other vehicles going towards the neighbors property before he could no longer be seen on camera/
The owner noticed in the morning that her purse as well as contents inside, were missing from her vehicle. The video footage was provided to the Greeneville Police Department. An extra patrol vehicle was requested for the area. No suspects are known at the time.
