Greeneville Police responded to the Walmart parking lot around 12:40 am today on a warrant check related to a parked vehicle at that location.
Officers say they approached the car in their marked vehicles and in full uniform. While marking contact with Zebedee T. Gross, who was listed as homeless, Gross reportedly started the vehicle and fled the scene. Officers pursued Gross until he crashed into a light pole in the parking lot.
He was taken into custody on charges of Felony Evading, Possession of Schedule VI and Financial responsibility along with outstanding warrants of failure to appear and violation of probation.
