The Greeneville Police Department responded to a disturbance at a home on North Main Street yesterday night.
The victim told officers that a man approached him and claimed the dirt bike on the victim’s truck was stolen from him. He allegedly began making threats stating he had a gun, at which point he pulled out a black object from his pocket. The object was later confirmed to be a flashlight the suspect was using to imitate a gun.
The victim also had a witness with him at the time and said they were both threatened. The suspect was arrested and charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault and was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
