A man found passed out in his vehicle was transported to the hospital after officers had to deliver two doses of Narcan for him to wake up.
Officers responded to Greeneville Express Mart on 3100 East Andrew Johnson Highway and found the man slumped behind the wheel with the vehicle still running. The male, later identified as Bandy Thompson of Greeneville, did not wake up and officers attempted chest rubbing but were reportedly unsuccessful.
Thompson was removed from the vehicle by officers who then delivered two doses of nasal Narcan. Once EMS arrived to the scene they began medically treating Thompson. He finally woke up and was transported to the Greeneville Community Hospital for further medical treatment.
Once at the hospital a blood draw was given. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence 3rd offense and Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License.
