Results of a recent survey by Main Street: Greeneville, in conjunction with the Tennessee Main Street Program and Main Street America, were discussed during a stategic planning session Wednesday held at Walters State’s Greeneville campus.
Dianna Cantler is a consultant for Tennessee Main Street and moderated the meeting.
Results of the survey listing top issues for downtown Greeneville were:
1 – Vacant Store Fronts
2 – Lack of businesses or destinations suited by needs of those in the area
3 – Lack of Parking
Around 30 attended the planning session. Cantler then met with the Main Street: Greeneville board afterwards to discuss moving forward.
