UPDATE: The Lyrics on the Lawn concert tonight has been canceled due to rain.

Main Street Greeneville’s Summer Concert Series celebrates eleven years with the third show of 2024 on Thursday, July 18 at 7:00 pm. The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee. The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. Get your dancing shoes out and get ready to boogie. This week’s concert and the third of the season will feature the best swing and 80’s music around. Break out that 80’s outfit and get in the groove. Rumor has it there might be a contest for the best outfit. The concert will open with a local favorite the Greeneville Community Swing Band followed by headliner Club Rewind. The opening act will begin at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner taking the stage at 8. The event is scheduled rain or shine on the lawn of the mansion.   Severe weather may force a cancellation so stay tuned to all forms of media for updates.

Greeneville Community Swing Band Bio
We are a group of local musicians who love to play swing music. Some of us have played together for more than 10 years. Our band consists of high school students, music teachers, and others with varied careers and varied music backgrounds. We really enjoy playing together. If you aren’t familiar with swing music, checkout our schedule and come listen to us play. Your toes won’t stop tapping! On occasion we might host short dance lessons before our performance.”

Club Rewind Bio
“Club Rewind is an 80’s Pop/Rock/Party Tribute Band that plays 80’s music that everyone knows and loves!! Presenting their High-Energy, practically Non-Stop, interactive style of performances, fans have said that Rewind shows are more of an Experience, not just a show. You will see Colorful Neon, animal prints, Rubiks Cubes, air guitars, more cowbells and Aquanet (well maybe a little) than ever before! In the blink of an eye, Club Rewind brings crowds Back into the Bodacious 80’s!!”

 Open Mic
A new feature this year will be an Open Mic opportunity each week from 6 – 7:00pm. Open Mic will be located over in the Food Court/Café area. This is open to all from the kiddos to adults.   If you are interested in participating contact and speak with Jann at the Main Street office at 423-639-7102 to reserve a slot.
