Long time fireman Ryan Holt was recognized during the Greeneville City Council on Tuesday.
Holt has been with the Greeneville Fire Department for 28 years. He is also Chief of the Caney Branch Volunteer Fire Department.
He has accepted a position as Fire Instructor 2-East Tennessee Coordinator with the Tennessee Fire Codes Academy.
