Chuckey-Doak defeats South Greene: 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-20)
West Ridge defeats Greeneville: 3-2 (20-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-20, 15-7)
GOLF:
The South Greene Rebels win a 4-way match at Link Hills Country Club slipping past West Greene 174 to 176. South Greene’s Kolben Gregg finished as medalist for the sixth time with a 37. West Greene’s Conner Campbell, Peyton Shelton, and South Greene’s Benji Conner tied for second with a 43. Chuckey-Doak finished third with 201 followed by North Greene’s 206.
Greeneville’s golf teams made their way to Sevier County for a 5-way golf match Monday afternoon,
TJ Coles paced the boys with a 42 and a 3rd place finish in the match. Conner Shipley’s 43, Bryson Ricker’s 44, and Bryce Guinn’s 45 secured Greeneville’s 174, which was 6-shots short of Jefferson County’s 168.
Brylee Catron and Kamryn Renner each finished with a 37 to help the Lady Devils finish atop the leaderboard with a 74.
