Baileyton – The North Greene Huskies used a strong pitching performance from Aiden Halley and Tyler Britton to set the stage for an impressive performance against the Unaka Rangers. Hailey earned the start and went 3 strong innings, striking out 3, while Britton finished in relief for the final two innings, striking out 4.
The Huskey bats were equally impressive pounding out 14 hits, including a triple and double from Britton and 2 singles and a double from Colton Robbins. This offensive collection led to an abundance of runs and the 18-3 win.
North Greene will take their 3-2 record on the road to Unaka when they tangle with the Rangers on Tuesday.
