A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for Greene County from 1 AM until 10 AM Thursday, February 20.
Another round of snow is expected late tonight, with additional accumulation of less than 1 inch possible and a low in the upper teens. Snow is likely to continue Thursday morning, but little additional accumulation is expected. Occasional flurries are expected through early Thursday afternoon with a high in the mid 20s. After the snow moves out, temperatures will plummet to around 9 degrees Thursday night.
In the mountain areas, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon on Thursday with additional accumulation of 1-3 inches possible. A Cold Weather Advisory will also be in effect for the higher elevations of Southeast Greene County from 1 AM until 4 PM Thursday. Wind chills as low as 5 to 10 below zero are expected.
