The rebuilding project of Kinser Bridge is now expected to be done within 100 more days.
Beams nearly 100′ long began arriving in Greene County today, with the first ones already being set in place. 30 beams in all will be used to span the nearly 600′ on the Erwin Highway to replace the Kinser Bridge that washed away in September.
Setting of the beams are expected to be completed by the end of next week with the bridge expected to be open for traffic on or before June 23, 2025.
