Keith Self won the Republican Primary in the 6th District Constable race Tuesday night according to unofficial election results, defeating incumbent Matthew Brobeck by 70 votes.
Self received 454 votes, while Brobeck received 384.
The six other constable races in the Republican Primary were uncontested, and no Democratic or independent candidates filed to run for any constable seats meaning Tuesday’s Republican winners will run unopposed in the August General Election.
Uncontested winners were David Brown with 896 complimentary votes in the 1st District, Wayne Wilhoit with 1,102 complimentary votes in the 2nd District, Kenneth Bitner with 1,042 complimentary votes in the 3rd District, William Parton with 1,034 complimentary votes in the 4th District, Freddie Sams with 1,216 complimentary votes in the 5th District, and Timothy Vonglis with 696 complimentary votes in the 7th District.
