Kayaks were reported stolen from two Greene County residences on Sunday.
One of the victims, who lives in the 1600 block of Doty Chapel Road, reported the theft around 9:45 AM. She discovered her two kayaks and a trailer they were on missing from the property. The victim had last seen them a week ago. She said there were tire marks near the road that looked like a truck had been there. The two kayaks and trailer were valued at $2,400.
The second incident was reported around 11:00 AM Sunday in the 300 block of West Sevier Heights. The victim discovered two kayaks valued at $1,000 each stolen from his property. He believed the theft occurred over the Labor Day weekend.
No suspects were named to police in either incident.
