Justin Jeffers has been approved as a member of the Greeneville Energy Authority Board.
The Greeneville City Council approved the recommendation from the GEA Board Tuesday. GEA had submitted his name for consideration last month.
Jeffers is part owner and manger of Jeffers Funeral Service, a member of the Board of Directors of Heritage Community Bank, Past president of the Tennessee Funeral Directors and still serves as chairman of the government affairs committee. He’s also a Greeneville Airport Authority Board member and Greene County Partnership Board member.
Jeffers is a Tusculum University graduate.
Jeffers will fill the remainder of the term of Jim Emory, who passed away last year.
