Joy Nunnally was honored at the Saturday Lincoln Day Dinner for her fifty years of service to the Greene County Republican Party.
Local Republican Party Chair Tom Bible announced the announced the annual Chairman’s Award for Service recognition near the end of the event.
The Lincoln Day Dinner, held at the General Morgan Inn, is the main fundraiser for the Greene County Republican Women each year.
This year, the guest speakers were candidates for Tennessee Governor. John Rose and Monty Fritts were in attendance, while Knoxville Mayor Glenn Jacobs attended on behalf of Marsha Blackburn. The three were introduced by U.S Representative Diana Harshbarger, who was introduced by State Senator Steve Southerland.
