A man wanted in Greene County on multiple felony charges locally, was arrested in Washington County Monday afternoon.
Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 34 year old Cody William Browder Monday on charges of Felony Assault Against a First Responder, Evading Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, Browder was wanted on multiple felony charges out of Greene County. Deputies located him at Bowmantown Ruritan shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, and attempted to take him into custody. Browder fled in his vehicle down Barkley Road, striking a mailbox and a WCSO cruiser before heading back towards Bowmantown Road. After a brief pursuit, Deputies executed a PIT maneuver in the 200 block of Bowmantown Road, resulting in Browder’s vehicle striking a power pole.
