The Greeneville City Council approved a bid proposal Tuesday for the repair and restoration of the chimneys at the T. Elmer Cox Genealogical and Historical Library.
Library Director Erin Evans reported the low bid for the work by Skyline was $18,750, which will come from the library fund balance.
BOARD/COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
With the two new board members now in place, appointments to various committees were also approved.
Angelo Botta will serve on the Roby Advisory Committee while Flint Carter will be on the Historic Zoning Commission and the EMS Board.
Matt Hensley will serve on the Planning Commission and the Library Board.
