A stolen vehicle was recovered this morning after officers were on duty for a warrant check at Bayberry Street.
The vehicle, a 2003 light white Honda Civic, was stolen from Fry Street from the owner. It was reportedly sold to someone for $400, according to the victim. The vehicle was recovered this morning before 1 AM during a warrant check. It was confirmed to be the stolen vehicle after running the VIN number.
A resident of the home on Bayberry Street told police the car was dropped off by the alleged suspect and that he said he’d pick it up by June 3rd. Attempts were made to get in contact with the vehicle owner, but the phone call was not able to go through. It was towed by Caspers towing.
