Sunny with the high near 91 on today with the heat index value as high as 95 degrees. Plan your days accordingly, like moving work and exercise to early morning, drink before you feel thirsty, take air-conditioned breaks, check on your older neighbors, and never leave kids or pets in the car.
The Weather Service has also stated that storms are expected to form Monday evening, which have the potential for damaging wind gusts across much of East Tennessee.
