A hay barn at 9710 Old Stage Road was destroyed by fire overnight.
Units from the Tusculum, Newmansville, Limestone, and Sulphur Springs Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the call at 12:20 am.
The complainant reported to the Sheriff’s Department that the barn belonged to his neighbor James Miller, who was believed to be out of town on vacation.
The thirty by one hundred foot barn was fully engulfed when responders arrived on the scene.
