Republican Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger officially launched her reelection campaign Tuesday.
Harshbarger is seeking a fourth term representing Tennessee’s First Congressional District, which includes Greene County.
In making the annoucement, she said:
“I’m running for re-election to keep this progress going and to make sure our East Tennessee values continue to lead the way in Washington. Over the past year, I’ve worked alongside President Trump and House Republicans to deliver real results for Tennessee’s First District. Together, we’re lowering costs, securing the border, strengthening rural health care, and cutting Washington red tape.”
To date, Harshbarger is the only candidate in the 2026 District 1 Election who has registered.
